We firmly believe that, if executed properly, tourism can be a source of sustainable development. It can provide dignified and rewarding employment to the local population; pay fair prices for local organic produce; encourage best practices for water management and waste disposal/recycling; and, invest in reforestation as well as in the upkeep of archaeological sites.

We aim to do this beautiful valley justice by:

Accommodations

Using minimal impact architecture, which blends with its surroundings

Offering unadulterated views of the mountains and archaeological sites around us

Customizing our tents to be thermally efficient

Using solar energy for our lighting needs

Treating waste water with bio-digestors and a wet land, filtered water is used for irrigation

Sourcing local products in our kitchen

Having a no single use plastic policy
